Born in Prince William County, Virginia,  Peggy Bassette has spent most of her life in the area.    She now lives in Nokesville with her husband Jim, their son Trent, and their two horses, two cats, and Basset Hound (Smokey)!  Peggy enjoys swimming, hiking quiet evenings at home, working out at the Freedom Center, and drives through the Blue Ridge Mountains.  An avid reader, Peggy loves nothing more than sitting by a cozy fire with her husband, son, and a great book.

Together, Peggy and Jim have three children.  Trent is eleven years old and thriving in his first year in Middle School, he loves Fencing and is learning to play the Saxaphone.  Valerie is 22  years old and graduated from Brentsville Senior High School.  After attending Bridgewater College for two years, she is transferring to George Mason University in the Spring.  In the interim, Val is working at Bassette, so don't be surprised if she answers the phone when you call. Chris, who served in the United States Marine Corps, has returned home after serving our country abroad.
